Manava Bharati kids enjoyed Shoe Party


 Dehradun| Shoes are an important part of our everyday lives . Shoes were originally designed to protect our feet from cold weather , sharp objects and uncomfortable surfaces.Shoes have passed on from being an item of luxury to an item of necessity. Fashion has also played a role in the evolution of the shoe.

A shoe party was organized in MANAVA BHARATI INDIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL on 31st October, 2017 for mothers of classes P.G and Nursery.The Director Dr. Himanshu Shekhar and the Principal Ms. Nina Pant witnessed the show.

The tiny tots recited beautiful poems. Mothers participated in ramp walk , quiz and other games. The mothers were overwhelmed by the performances of their little ones.

 The first shoe was made on the border of Iran in a place called Mesopotamia . Machine made shoes were made by Jan Ernst . He patented a shoe making machine in 1883. In the early 1800’s men and women shoes begin to differ in style ,color , heel and shape. During  the Great Depression black and brown shoes dominated the market. Chinese and Japanese women wore permanent wooden shoes when they are young . The shoes were removed at the age of 18 so that they would  always have small feet.The Victoria and Albert Museum has a collection of 2,000 pairs from all over the world.

BATA is the largest retailer and manufacturer of footwear in India . They started operations near Calcutta in 1932. The Bata Shoe Company was found on 24th August 1894 in Zlin in Czechlosovakia by Tomas Bata and his brother Antonin and his sister Anna whose family had been cobbler for generations. Shoes in some temples are covered with cloth. People remove shoes before entering a home.

Ms. Suman Rawat and Ms. Dipinita Biswas got the first position in the ramp walk. In games Ms. Prema Joshi , Shivani Sharma, Anita Chauhan , Neema Rawat , Sangeeta , Kanti Devi played well.
