Krishna Janmashtami, also known as Janmashtami or Gokulashtami is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Shree krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu.Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm in MBIIS.

The whole school was adorned on the theme,“Krishna ki Nagri”. The environment was full of joy and happiness. The programme started with the welcoming of – our Principal Mr. Rajeev Singhal, our guest Mr. PK Dhyani along with the co-ordinators, office staff members, teachers and our dear children.

Before Janmashtami celebration ,the principal, acknowledged the talent of winners of an Interschool Geeta Path Recitation Competition held in Kasiga school, Dehradun.They were awarded with certificates and trophies and the holy book-The Geeta.

The Janmashtami programme was anchored by – Mimansha Kimothi of class XI Science. It started with the Group song “Jai Kanhaiya lal ki” and filled the environment with love and devotion for Lord Krishna. Then a small speech was delivered by Aditya of class KG.Everyone appreciated his confidence and deliverance of speech. Then a speech on Janmashtami was delivered by Chaitnaya of class 8A.

After this there was a flow of great dance performances by- Pre-primary, Primary, middle school and senior students. All the dances were marvelous, entertaining and full of enthusiasm. Lastly there was a great performance portrayed all the avatars and good deeds of Lord Krishna in one single.

Everyone’sheart was filled with Love and devotion for LadduGopal.
