Manava Bharati India International School, celebrated International Labours Day. A special assembly was conducted by XII commerce students where the children were told about the significance of the day.
Labour Day is observed as a legal holiday in US and Canada, and was started in 1882 by the Knights of Labours. The day is celebrated to show gratitude and honour for the working class. During assembly, gifts were distributed amongst the workers of the school by the Principal. Mansi and Riya spoke about Labour Day and its importance. The school choir also presented a song dedicated to the hard work of labourers. In all the assembly was a great success and was appreciated by all.
