Fit India Movement

Our honorable Prime Minister launched nationwide “Fit India Movement” aimed to encourage people to inculcate physical activity and sport in their daily routine. As a part of this all CBSE schools are celebrating “Fit India School Week” with the objective to develop a healthy lifestyle. The Students and staff of Manava Bharati India International School also contributed to the activity on 25.11.2019 by bringing healthy food items in their Tiffin.

Students of senior classes were asked to bring nutritional chart of the food they brought for this activity. Middle school children were asked to give a short speech on the importance of healthy diet.

Teachers in every class conducted a small session in which they informed the students about the ill effects of junk food and Carbonated drinks and how healthy food can help them in leading a healthy lifestyle. Students actively participated in the activity and surprisingly enjoyed the healthy food items which they usually avoid eating.
