Ashmit Rana of Manava Bharati School stood first in Spring festival Drawing competition


Dehradun| Ashmit Rana Student of Manava Bharati School stood first in Drawing competition. The Drawing competition was held at Raj Bhawan on 24th of Feb during the Spring festival 2018 by the Department of Horticulture and food processing.

The competition was divided into three categories according to their age groups 5 to 10yrs, 10 to 14yrs and 14 to 18yrs. Ashmit Rana stood first in 3rd category (14-18 years). The results was announced by the Authorities at the Governor’s House. The Governor Dr. K.K. Paul honored him with a Certificate and a Memento. Must Read- Drawing competition at Raj Bhawan

Several reputed schools of CBSE and ICSE board participated in the competition. The students were asked to draw and paint according to their choice within the stipulated time of 2 hrs. The students enthusiastically participated in the competition and express their feelings on topics like ‘Women empowerment’, ‘Save the girl child’, ‘Stop child labour’, ’Swachh Bharat’, ‘Hamara Uttarakhand’ etc. , through the medium of drawing and painting.
